Facelift for a newborn

Yes, it’s like I had a newborn get a facelift: I got the dealer to install the “Sport Grille - Turbo” yesterday on the 2020 Subaru Outback. Bought this with the car, so I had a week of the standard grille, then changed up the look. I like it, both for the honeycomb and for less chrome. I’m sure that it will be harder to clean, but I don’t care.

Also, after a week of thinking that I should have gotten green, seeing it in person left me still liking it, but happy with the red. Very glad we didn’t get brown, which was on our acceptable list. It is simply darker than I would prefer, although also nice.

Red is the fastest color, i love the grill.

That’s a definite improvement on the grill. I wouldn’t mind a Pro grill on the 4Runner, but it’s a hefty $500 for OEM.

I like the red. I still notice red 4Runners, as that was my initial want before I changed it up for the blue.

Just give up after a year or two and never wash it like me.

I think this was mid $200 range, but only because I got it with the car.

The funny thing with the Pro grill is that it’s just an overlay that goes over the existing grill bar with some double sided adhesive. And the small upper grill is a separate piece as well.

Much better. I really like the Olive Green XT . Saw it in person at the Ny Auto show looks proper outdoorsy.
